Well, I do hope that our roses are not too confused with the hot weather then the cold spell and now our warm, moist weather.
Our December meeting will take place at the Melrose Homemakers’ Club in Melrose. Please see the attached information as well as the list of what members are bringing. If you are not signed up just bring something you like to make. Please call Jean Giesel at 352-475-2762 to let her know how many people you have attending.
We also have a fun way of exchanging the gift we get for another member’s gift if we choose to do so. This activity is always an entertaining and enjoyable event so come and have some fun with us. The Melrose ladies are planning some fun for us too.
To update you on the Westwood Middle School project this month. The Gainesville Rose Society built the 8, 10” high beds, 3-4’X4’, 2 – 4’X8’, 1 -6”X6’, and 2-6’X12’. It took us 8 days about 5 hours a day. They are all finished to be filled by the Gainesville Garden Club and the Master Gardeners.
Don’t forget to send in your registration form for the Deep South District Mid-Winter Meeting on January 18-20. The date for preregistration is December 9, 2018 which is earlier in the month. See you in Melrose on December 9th!
