Thank you all for coming to our May picnic and bringing all of the wonderful delectable delicacies. Thank you, Ann and Dan for designing the beautiful rose gardens on each table. They were very enjoyable to look at as we enjoyed good company and good food. Thank you Cyd and Art for making this Beautiful venue available to us again. Thank you, Ann, for bringing Eileen and her son Charles. We appreciate Charles’ interest in photographing roses and look forward to a ‘rosy’ future for him in his photography endeavors.
Our officers met and have pretty much come up with some fine programs that should be interesting, stimulating, and of educational value to all of us. However, this is your society and we would be very interested in receiving any ideas from you for programs that would benefit us. So, please communicate with us! Already, Eileen Tirado and Charles have expressed an interest in a photography program; possibly in conjunction with a school. This is certainly an avenue to explore.
Our long-time member, lover of roses and friend, Bob Spangenberg is out of the hospital and is convalescing at Palm Gardens. He will be there for a few weeks and would most certainly appreciate your visit. There has been a "Sara Poss Memorial" set up by Dan so if you are interested in making a donation in her memory please send it to Dan Mills, P.O. Box 661, Fairfield, Fl., 32643.
