Have you had fun with your roses this summer? I have! My message for my term is “Roses are fun!” You will receive a “Roses are Fun” window decal to put on your car or home window at our first meeting.
New members who are signing up this year will receive a rose for joining our society. We hope this will increase our membership along with the ARS free membership for four months. Thanks to Cyd and Art Wade who have offered to supply the roses.

On October 14, we will have a Yard Sale at Lee Wiegand’s home off 43rd Street. Lee Wiegand has offered her home for yard sales in the past which has been very gracious of her and we thank her for this. Set up will be Friday TBA. Please collect a few items for us to sell. We all have items that clutter our homes. I have collected two boxes of saleable items.
Soon we will get the information for our DSD Fall Convention. I do hope you are able to attend, the date is October 27-29. If you cannot attend all the days, please come on Saturday, you will meet many delightful rose people. They have a wealth of information to share with you.
Please don’t forget to bring a raffle item to our meeting to be raffled off.
Yours in the Rose Garden.
