Welcome to the Gainesville Rose Society's new website

The Gainesville Rose Society, founded in September 1964, serves Gainesville, Alachua County, and surrounding counties for information, education, and promotion of our National Flower, The Rose.

We exist to encourage and assist all persons interested in rose growing as a hobby. Anyone interested in growing or exhibiting roses is invited to become a member. We are one of nearly 400 societies nationwide, and our society affiliated with the American Rose Society in 1965. Our annual membership dues are $15 for an individual or $20 for a family.
